Why, yes, S&S Cycle DOES make performance parts for Milwaukee-Eights (of course; they’re S&S, after all). Seeing as how they’ve been squeezing the most out of American V-twins since 1957, this is a surprise to no one. That said, we thought you M8 and 2019 XL owners would like a little more info on a few of the more popular upgrades they have for you and your ride.
S&S Cycle’s bolt-in 124 Cubic Inch Big Bore Kit takes the stock 107 ci Milwaukee-Eight engine from a respectable 92 hp to a claimed 125+ hp (with stock heads and throttle body). The S&S Big Bore kit is also available for the 114 ci models, pushing them to a solid 128 cubes. Both versions come in at 11.1 compression.
Each kit is still the same high quality liner wrapped in cast aluminum and each includes high compression pistons, rings, clips and gaskets. The company’s Hooligan Kit still includes 482 cams, premium tappets and all of their XL kits are available in 1200cc or 1250cc. Look for a $200+ savings over previous kits and kits are available for most 1986-2019 XL models.
Independent scavenge sections for flywheel cavity as well as cam chest combine to create a superior tool for distributing oil throughout your engine. Debris screens and a powerful magnet keep the flotsam from following it. Increased flow capacity on both feed and scavenge side as well as adjustable pressure relief valve are all designed to keep lubricant flowing throughout your engine under extreme conditions. Matched to the billet aluminum S&S cam plate and you’ve created a great combination of oil management parts in your Milwaukee-Eight powered touring or Softail model.

What started as a passion for speed, grew into the best known company name in the V-Twin high performance aftermarket. George J. Smith had to build his own parts to make his motorcycle faster. Now the company he founded manufactures the most pretigious line of "go fast" v-twin engine parts in the world. The company was started in the basement of his home in Blue Island IL in 1958, and moved to Viola, WI in 1969. In 2004 an additional facility was opened in La Crosse, WI.
