The only thing worse than finding your Harley with a dead battery in the garage is finding it with a dead battery away when you go to ride home. Neither is as bad as your bike being stolen, but motorcycle security is a different article for another time. Right now, we’re talking about taking care of the heavy boxy thing that sends power to your starter when you hit the switch.
Keeping your motorcycle’s battery at the ready is pretty easy to do. Not that changing in a new one is difficult, but who wants to shell out for a new battery when you can pick up a trickle charger for much less money and even less effort?
