War of the Twins sounds like a fantasy fiction series about dark wizards and people in chain mail underwear but it’s actually a very real flat track race in Minnesota. Authentic Indoor Flat Track motorcycle racing is returning to the Twin Cities for the second year on March 22, 2019 to kick-off the largest custom bike and car show weekend in the Midwest, the Donnie Smith Show – Midwest Extravaganza.
All seats and VIP boxes are assigned by reservation only. The best seats will be purchased first, so enthusiasts are encouraged to make reservations early. Tickets are available for $15 in advance online. The first 500 children 12 and under in the door accompanied by a parent will receive free entry, two free children admissions per adult ticket purchase. VIP box seating tickets are an additional $25. Reservations may be made here.
There’s nothing like the sound, fury or speed of flat track bikes launching off the stripe or ripping down the straightaway.
Over those years, hundreds of privateer racers found a home in which to compete. As one of the largest, most successful and longest-running flat track events, The Indoors put the sport on the map. The Twin Cities welcomed the heart-pounding thunder of indoor flat track racing back again last March at the Lee & Rose Warner Coliseum on the Minnesota State Fairgrounds.
Sponsoring the Indoor Flat Track races are GEICO Motorcycle, Russ Brown, Sturgis Buffalo Chip, Lucas Oil and S&S Cycle.
